This policy explains what information Neur (https://getneur.espectra.io) collects, how we use it and the choices you have. Neur is operated by Espectra LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States ("Espectra," "we," "us").
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address and password (stored encrypted; we can never see it).
- Business information: business name, EIN if you add it, industry, money accounts, transactions, invoice and receipt details (including names of your customers and suppliers), cash closes, products, and the reports generated from them.
- Documents you upload: photos and PDFs of receipts and invoices.
- Subscription information: plan, amounts and payment references. Card details are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe; Neur never receives or stores them.
- Technical information: a session cookie to keep you logged in, and the server logs needed for security and operation. We don't use advertising cookies.
2. How we use it
- To provide the service: record your information, generate reports and ledgers, and give access to the people you invite.
- To manage your subscription and payments.
- To read receipts automatically when you ask us to, so you don't have to type the details.
- To provide support, tell you about important changes and send account-related messages.
- To protect the platform, prevent fraud and comply with the law.
- To improve Neur using aggregated usage statistics that don't identify you.
- Marketing, only if you opt in: news, tips and promotions by email. You can change this in your account, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
3. Who we share it with
- People you authorize, such as your accountant or other members you invite to your business.
- Service providers that help us run Neur: server hosting, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and an AI service that reads the receipts you choose to scan (Anthropic). They only get what they need to provide their service and must protect it.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights and users' safety.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Where it's stored
Your information is stored on servers of our infrastructure providers, which may be located in the United States or other countries. We protect it with reasonable security measures wherever it's processed.
5. How long we keep it
While your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your information within a reasonable time, except what we must keep to comply with the law or resolve disputes (for example, subscription payment records). Backups are deleted on their normal rotation cycle.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted passwords, databases that aren't exposed to the internet, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident affects your information, we'll notify you as required by law.
7. Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, download or delete your information, and opt out of marketing emails. You can do most of this yourself from your account. Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA), you may have additional rights, such as knowing what information we have about you and asking us to delete it. We won't discriminate against you for exercising them. To make a request, write to us at info@espectra.io.
8. Children
Neur isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll let you know in the platform and, when appropriate, ask you to accept them again.
